Libeskind designed his spire-tower.
Childs came up with an idea to make it worse.
Libeskind got him to make it even worse!

That's what's happened,basically...and Pataki and Bloomberg are
about to announce the plan on Friday and tell us we all support it.

GET READY TO SHOUT THIS GARBAGE DOWN!!

Essentially,Libeskind has pushed to have the Childs open cagework
over the 70-story roof made shorter to show off the spire more.
Now nothing but the spire and maybe the antenna (not mentioned lately)
will poke above the roof elevations of the MTR Tower/Union Square now
building in Hong Kong,or the Shanghai World Financial Center under
construction guess where.(I do NOT believe that certain concerns
affecting Shanghai construction in general will hold back the
particular flagship building).
